Lando Norris Tops Piastri in Brazilian Practice Session
The British driver has beaten his teammate at each of the past five race weekends.
Lando Norris narrowly beat team-mate and title rival the Australian for the top spot in the closing stages of practice at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
Norris, who seized the points lead from Piastri by just one point after his victory in Mexico City a fortnight back, beat the Australian by a mere 0.023s.
Until that point, Oscar Piastri had been the fastest McLaren driver throughout the hour before the sprint shootout scheduled for 6:30 PM GMT.
The Red Bull star, the sole remaining contender in realistic title contention, lying 36 points behind behind Norris, was classified in P17 as his Red Bull team opted for a alternative strategy.
Verstappen's team-mate the Japanese driver was the only driver to go off, though minor, when he lost control at Turn Four during the early running.
Tsunoda lost control over the curbs on exit before sliding over the run-off area, and was lucky to get away with just a minor contact of the barrier.

The seven-time champion finished practice in 19th, one place behind teammate the Monegasque driver.
Norris and Piastri were well clear of the rest of the field, with the German's Sauber in third, 0.619 seconds slower than Piastri's pace.
Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso was fourth quickest, with the Sauber of Gabriel Bortoleto ahead of Mercedes' George Russell and Alpine's Gasly and the Williams of Carlos Sainz.
